Minsk Automobile Plant was founded in 1944. In February 2009, RUE "MAZ" was transformed into a joint-stock company.
Open Joint Stock Company "Minsk Automobile Plant" - the management company of the holding "BELAVTOMAZ" is one of the largest commercial vehicle manufacturers in Europe. JSC "MAZ" is a large economic complex of a full automotive cycle, which includes almost all technological alterations.
