The joint limited liability company "Belvest" was established in 1988 in Vitebsk (Republic of Belarus) on the basis of the factory "Red October", with the participation of the German company "Salamander", became one of the first joint ventures in the territory of the former Soviet Union. In 1989, the first pair of shoes was released, and at the end of 1991, the company reached the design capacity of 2 million pairs of shoes per year.
In 1996, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus registered a Joint Limited Liability Company "Belvest" as a legal entity.
The entire strategy for the development of the production of Belvest LLC over the past 10 years has been based on the development of its own retail network in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. The share of sales of Belvest products through the branded retail network has been continuously growing year by year. To date, the BELWEST retail network includes 407 stores.
