Elektrokhiz LLC develops a network of charging stations for electric vehicles ‘BatteryFly’ in the Republic of Belarus and is the developer of the mobile application of the same name, the users of which are more than 10.2 thousand Belarusians. As of October 2024, this is more than half of all electric car drivers in Belarus (about 18 thousand state licence plates for electric cars are registered in the country).

Now 186 charging stations are operating on the BatteryFly platform and its licensed copies, and 20 more are in the process of integration. The licence for integration into the application was acquired by 2 major market players: 1. ‘Evika!’ network, which is developed by Beltelecom RUP; 2. ‘forEVo’ network, developed by A-100 Development group of companies. According to plans, by the end of 2024, about 300 charging stations for electric cars will operate on the BatteryFly platform and its licensed copies. A project is underway to create a separate licensed copy of the BatteryFly platform to connect charging stations of SAR Corporation on the territory of the Russian Federation.

At present the charging network ‘BatteryFly’ is one of three operators in the Republic of Belarus integrated into the payment system ‘OPLATI’ with 1.5 million users. The competitive advantage of Elektrokhiz Ltd. is the platform for management and monetisation of charging stations ‘BatteryFly’ of its own development. The ‘BatteryFly’ platform has a number of functional advantages:

access to a personal cabinet with the possibility of online monitoring and management of charging sessions;

the possibility of monitoring and obtaining analytical information in various slices;

management of the charging process remotely on various devices (mobile phone, PC, car display);

booking of charging stations in advance or the possibility to join the queue if the station is busy;

the possibility of using personal accounts for legal entities, where reporting on each employee, electric vehicle and operations with charging stations is also maintained; the platform allows flexible customisation of tariffs for different groups of users.

Areas of development of the BatteryFly platform:

Automation of support service processes (we already use neural language models and will develop them);

Automation of station maintenance processes and identification of equipment problems;

Development of functionality for working with legal entities;

Bonus programme;

Flexible tariff setting;

Integration with accounting systems and alternative payment providers.

The attracted resources Elektrokhiz Ltd. plans to spend on expansion of the charging network, installation of charging stations in regional and large cities of the Republic of Belarus. Also the attracted resources will be used to organise own production of charging stations in Minsk. The raised funds will be used for development and elaboration of new functionality of the ‘BatteryFly’ platform.

The Republic of Belarus is among the TOP-10 among the CIS and BRICS countries in the rating of electric transport distribution, ranking 6th. The undisputed leader of the industry is China, where there are 15.72 4 electric cars per 1 thousand inhabitants according to statistics. In Belarus, this indicator is 0.84 electric cars. The development of the electric transport market is supported at the state level. In particular, transport tax, import VAT and import duties have been cancelled for electric cars. The country is actively importing electric cars, has established its own production of urban public transport (electric buses MAZ and BKM Holding), and in 2025 is expected to launch serial production of electric cars under the brand ‘BELJI’, up to 100 thousand cars per year. The total number of charging stations for electric cars in the country is about 1 thousand.

Elektrohiz LLC was registered in May 2022. In addition to developing the market of charging stations for electric vehicles, the company is engaged in supplying complex electro-chemical equipment to players in the oil and gas market in Belarus. The company has long-term contracts for the supply of complex equipment for RUE PO Belorusneft, Gomeltransneft Druzhba, Polotsktransneft Druzhba, Gazprom Transgaz Belarus GPO Beltopgaz.
